Lucy and Max's 5th Birthday Bash at Crazy Pins

Lucy and Max are in the same class in Pre-K and their Moms decided to have a joint 5th birthday party since their birthdays are a few days apart. Max invited all the boys in the class and Lucy invited all the girls. What fun!

Winter Wonderland

At times we can forget that we live in a subdivision. What a beautiful morning this was.........I couldn't resist snapping a photo of how beautiful winter can be. Ok, we are glad we saw the beauty................now bring on spring already!!!!

Cool, Dude!

Dad took Lucy & Jorge out this morning to run some errands. They came home with some new shades. And we couldn't leave Joe out so we grabbed an old pair of Jorge's. We are ready for summer!
We couldn't resist posting this one....Here is Jorge, Lucy and Josephine, er...I mean Joe. Joe loves to wear Lucy's play heels, fairy wings and carry her purses! Too Funny!

Fun In The Snow

Well, it finally warmed up to a "reasonable" temperature to be able to go outdoors. Sunday afternoon we decided to go outside and enjoy some fun in the snow! Thanks Terri for all the hand-me-down snow clothes! We put them to good use!

Here's our little snow angel! Lucy loves making angels in the snow.

And here we are getting ready to sled!

Yahoo! We love Sledding!

Ok, Maybe Joe isn't thrilled, but Lucy and Jorge loved it!

At first, all Jorge wanted to do outside was build a snowman but Mom & Dad MADE him go down one time.......and wouldn't you know....he loved it! As soon as he would stop, he would pick his saucer up and run up the hill. He really liked going fast and in circles!

It's not a complete sled riding experience without at least one good wipeout. Mom spun him a little too much and he did a head plant in the snow. At first he wasn't too happy, but you can tell he changed his tune.

All Aboard!!!

One of Lucy & Jorge's favorite things to do on Saturday mornings is play "Bus" under a table in the living room. They have a new passenger now, Joe. It is so much fun watching them play make believe! I hope they never grow up :(

Great Wolf Lodge get away (Mason, Ohio)

We just got back from a fun little get away to Mason, Ohio for a couple days and enjoyed the indoor water park and other family activities at Great Wolf Lodge.

Jorge runs for two TDs in Championship game

Another fun evening of football for Jorge's team, The Irish. They won the Pre-K and K flag football championship. Jorge had two TDs tonight and Mom and Dad were loving every second of it. Looks like football is over for Jorge till spring or summer. Enjoy!

Jorge Scores a Touchdown Video - 12-16-08

Jorge had several really good plays at football tonight. Here he is running for a touchdown. Just look at the explosiveness as he hits the hole. Look out Archie Griffin cause I think we might have a challenger for two Heisman trophies right here. Due in large part to Jorge's contributions, the Irish beat the Boilermakers tonight by a score of 27-12. Mom and Dad were really excited and got this one on video...

Jorge and Winter Football

Jorge is playing flag football this winter. His team's name is the "Irish" and he is #3 in the pics below (as if you couldn't tell)... :-) This was something that we did not push him to do as much as it is something he really wanted to try and he is so excited about it right now. He is a very mature kindergartner (most of the time) and you can see, even in the pictures, how well he pays attention to the coach, the game and how in tune he is with learning all he can about it. It is a lot of fun to see him enjoying himself with it and he loves to run and has quite a nose for the football. I think he's got cornerback written all over him. It's hard to get really good pictures for two reasons - they are not close up and the lighting in "The Dome" is not the best, but I think you'll get the point with the pics below...

Happy Halloween!

Here's the crew.....Airel, the Little Mermaid, The Incredible Hulk, and the cute little pumpkin.

Isn't this the greatest? He looks like Re-Run from Good Times (of course I'm dating myself).

And we are off for lots of candy!

Happy 6th Birthday Jorge!

Yes, it was an Incredible Hulk Birthday for Jorge this year.
Don't forget to make wish!

Jorge had one of his new Kindergarten friends over for a sleep over. They had a blast playing together, from wrestling, to football to the Incredible Hulk Smash game he got as a present from Mom, Dad, Lucy and Joe.

Congratulations Joe & Jamie!

Shelly's brother, Joe, got married in October to Jamie. They had been dating for several years and decided to tie the knot about a year ago. We are thrilled to have Jamie and her kids as part of our family! Sorry the quality of the photo is a little off. Yes, that is Lucy as a flower girl! Other people to note in the picture....Shelly's younger brother Bob as best man (standing on the other side of Jamie), Lucy's cousins Mary (other flower girl) and Corey (Joe's daughter...the tallest girl in the photo).

This picture was taken right after the outdoor ceremony....yes, it was a little chilly! I couldn't get a good photo because the photographer kept getting in the way.
Here is Lucy in awe of Jamie (aka Cinderella). She did absolutely great other than a slight mishap while trying to see better (she actually fell over as she was leaning).

Here are the two gorgeous flower girls, Lucy and Mary as they were walking down the aisle.

Corey, Lucy and Mary at the bridal party table. And no, that is not Corey's beer.

Go COLTS!!!

I think this was one of the last pictures. Joe had reached his max. We could not keep him still long enough to get a good group picture. It ended up turning out good anyway!

You know Mom's little girl is going to love football!

And this guy....he is a football nut now! He started playing flag football and absolutely loves it! You will see some posts later on of him playing.

And of course....BIG JOE! I think this one is going to be a linebacker!
